Yunam peak (6110 Mts.) is located near Baralacha pass . Baralacha is the gateway to Sarchu bordering between Himachal & J&K. The base camp is just few kilometers from Baralacha Pass on Manali Leh highway near Bharatpur. The peak offers an opportunity to reach 6110 Mts. on snow and scree. It also offers majestic views of the peaks in the CB (Chandra Bhaga) and Mulkilla range. The expedition doesn’t require technical skill except the physical fitness and grit determination.

    Delhi : Departure for Manali. Overnight Bus Journey.

    Report at Base camp Naggar (2050 Mts) Forenoon: Acclimatization trek to the Heritage village Naggar, visit Naggar castle, Roerich art gallery and ancient temples. Afternoon: High rope activities, Sloth walk, Burma bridge and Artificial wall climbing. The day ends with the bone fire after dinner.

    Naggar – Manali – Jispa (3200 Mts) After breakfast drive to Jispa. En-route stop at Rohtang pass (3979 Mts) for acclimatization walk. There after we proceed ahead via Keylong to Jispa. Overnight camp at Jispa.

    Jispa (3200 Mts): Acclimatisation day.

    Jispa – Baralacha Pass (5030 Mts) – Bharatpur (4900 Mts) Today we drive early to Bahartpur over Baralacha Pass. After spending some time at pass descend down to Baharatpur and establish the base camp near road head.

    Load ferry to camp 1.

    Occupy/establishment of camp I.

  • 8

    Occupy/establishment of camp II.

    Summit and back to camp I

    Return from camp I to Bharatpur then drive back to Manali. Overnight at hotel in Manali.

    Free day at Manali. Departure for Delhi at 4pm

    Arrival at Delhi, Programme concludes.

Important Note

    The above fees include the entire transportation and common accommodation from Delhi to Delhi and vegetarian meals along the trek route from the Base Camp to Base Camp. The fees however do not include the meals during transit, any kind of shopping, mineral water, optional sightseeing, and any other expenses of personal nature. Backpack offloading charges extra. An important meeting shall be organized prior to the departure where all the do’s and don’ts will be discussed at length. The venue and timing of this meeting will be communicated well in advance to all the participants and attendance to this meeting will be compulsory.
