One of the finest surviving evergreen hot spots of India, Mahabaleshwar is a fantastic plateau located amidst the Western Ghats of the Sahyadri range. It is the largest hill stations in the state of Maharashtra which boasts of its resplendent valleys, cascading waterfalls, placid lakes, ancient temples, cobbled streets and large vistas of greenery. It is situated at a distance of 120 kms from Pune and surrounded by valleys on all sides. Admeasuring about 150 sq. kms. It is a home to a variety of attractions and its flora and fauna allows nature enthusiasts to engage in the beautiful landscapes, waterfalls and innumerable birds and mammals. Most exciting trails on the plateau are the Aurther Seat Point, Kates Point and a trek to Fort Pratapgarh. The program begins and ends in Pune. Two group leaders from Yuvashakti will accompany the group from Pune to Pune and additional experts will be stationed at Mahabaleshwar for facilitating adventure activities. Participants are required to fill an application form mentioning detailed information about the blood group, any illnesses etc. and it should be signed by the parents as well as the participant. An important meeting of all the participants shall be organized in Pune. Since all the minute details about the camps will be discussed in the meeting, attendance to this meeting shall be compulsory for participants and their parents. Confirmation of your participation can be obtained by depositing Rs. 2,000/- non-refundable advance along-with the application form and the balance amount should be paid 15 days prior to the date of departure. In case if a participant wishes to cancel his admission after the booking is confirmed, an amount of 50% of the total participation fees will be deducted and the remaining amount will be returned.
